LAKE OF THE OZARKS, MO, UNITED STATES, September 16, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Li’l Rizzo’s and The Barn-B-Que will recognize U.S. military veterans visiting the Lake of the Ozarks from Sept. 16 through Sept. 20, 2026. During the five-day period, veterans may receive $5 off a purchase of $25 or more at the businesses’ three participating restaurant locations. The recognition coincides with the Lake of the Ozarks motorcycle rally. Bill Borders, co-owner of Li’l Rizzo’s and The Barn-B-Que and a U.S. Navy veteran, said the occasion provides an opportunity to welcome fellow veterans visiting the area.
Borders served as a Naval Flight Officer in the United States Navy from 1985 to 1993.
“For me, this is about one veteran recognizing another,” Borders said. “My years in the Navy remain an important part of who I am, and this week gives me an opportunity to welcome fellow veterans who are spending time at the Lake.”
The offer is available at Li’l Rizzo’s in Lake Ozark, Li’l Rizzo’s in Osage Beach, and The Barn-B-Que Smokehouse. It applies to a qualifying purchase of $25 or more, is limited to one discount per check, and cannot be combined with other discounts or promotional offers.
Veterans may receive the offer whether or not they are attending the motorcycle rally. To receive the discount, a veteran may let a server or cashier know that they have served in the U.S. military. The recognition is intended for veterans from every branch of the U.S. military, subject to the stated purchase requirement and offer restrictions.
“Some of the people who had the greatest impact on me were the men and women I served alongside,” Borders said. “When veterans walk through our doors during the rally, I want them to know their service is recognized and appreciated.”
