SEVEN Restaurant & Cocktail Lounge is scheduled to open this fall at 545 Washington Street in Boston’s Downtown Crossing, introducing a new dining and nightlife concept centered on the Seven Deadly Sins.

The restaurant and cocktail lounge is designed around the themes of Pride, Greed, Lust, Envy, Gluttony, Wrath and Sloth. The concept will incorporate those themes throughout its interior design, culinary program, cocktails, music and overall guest experience.

SEVEN will feature multiple distinct environments within the venue, creating a progression throughout the space. The experience begins in The Garden of Eden, an elegant setting inspired by beauty, innocence and temptation, with a signature Forbidden Fruit Tree serving as a central design element.

Guests will then move through an immersive transition referred to as Purgatory before entering the Underworld, a more dramatic environment featuring darker surroundings, architectural elements, artwork and atmospheric lighting.

The venue is intended to operate as both a restaurant and cocktail lounge, offering dining and drinks alongside a social and nightlife-oriented setting. SEVEN expects to welcome guests for dinners, celebrations, group gatherings, special occasions and evening entertainment.

The design-forward concept also reflects the growing role of visual experiences in Boston’s restaurant and nightlife landscape, with artwork, architecture and interior details incorporated throughout the venue.
