Founded by husband-and-wife duo Bailey and Simon Haidamous, Row Bear is phonetically named after their son Robert who was diagnosed on the autism spectrum at an early age. After several sold-out annual releases of its flagship Reserve Cabernet Savignon, Row Bear is expanding its portfolio to include a 2024 Sauvignon Blanc, affectionately named Mamma Bear, from the Alexander Valley.

Craftsmanship Meets Compassion

Houston-based private equity executive Simon Haidamous brings extensive industry knowledge and connection to Houston’s vibrant wine scene. Prior to his current role at Genesis Park, he was the CFO at Aperture Cellars, a luxury winery in Healdsburg, California backed by a Houston-based investment group led by Houston Astros owner Jim Crane. Row Bear Wine — crafted in collaboration with acclaimed winemakers in California — reflects a commitment to both quality and cause. Available for the first time in Houston stores and restaurants this year, Row Bear donates a portion of the proceeds from every bottle sold to non-profits that support children who have learning differences.
